About LIT

LIT’s Vision and Purpose is to “Transform Society Through Leadership”

LIT catalyzes and trains college-level students to be Kingdom leaders in all spheres of society, and to transform nations.

Launched in 2012, LIT’s flagship “Calling Reformers” program reaches 2,000+ students each year on four premier South African universities in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

In 2015 we launch in Windhoek, Namibia and expect to be impacting 10,000+ students p.a. within 5 years in Southern Africa

Transforming Leaders Who Transform Society

LIT has three broad areas of activity

LIT's strategy is to build momentum through a "wide" reach of thousands of college (university) students in multiple African cities and nations, followed by in-depth programs in later years and ultimately an African Christian university.

Testimony From A Student

"L.I.T has helped me with shaping my view on life and working towards my calling. I knew early on in my walk with Christ that I am called into the market place, however, I had little knowledge of Christians in the workplace and what it actually meant to bring Christ-likeness in the workplace. L.I.T’s mentoring program helped a lot, with me being able to tap the shoulder of a Christian in the marketplace and ask any and all the questions I had at the time. That was a big turning point for me, it change my approach towards my studies and my perspective when I was to enter the market place. To this day I am still getting mentored and asking questions with regards to how does one conduct himself/herself in the marketplace. I can truly say I've been transformed from the inside out, plus the mentoring I am getting has come with some great opportunities to build my professional network and get great exposure into the market place with regards to understanding business and how it works. Overall, it has confirmed that the marketplace is a field for Christ to touch people’s lives and is a crucial aspect with regards to building nations.” Daniel Tshimanga
